Transport is via closely spaced anodized aluminum wheels to support the board more uniformly. Low clearance between wheels seal plates, and four dampered vacuum zones minimize air flow. Low air flow translates to less ink drying on printing plates. 7.5 HP/1750 RPM vacuum blowers reduce noise and save energy. Vacuum around the impression roll provides vacuum transport continuity. Printing impression adjustment is motorized. Impression rolls are supported by the side frames for greater stability. |
